Starting our fourth, full week with the kids at home and this morning I wanted to share some tips that have helped with my mindset each day! Whether you are working from home or not, have kids running around or not, this will help your overall mindset!! Finding my daily routine years ago has helped me so much as we navigate the ups and downs of life. Especially what we are experiencing right now~ . Wake up before the rest of the house and carve out time to focus and be alone. My routine then includes... . 1. Get dressed. I like to start with my work out clothes; ) . 2. Drink a glass of water with greens (or lemon essential oil ) + probiotic to get your metabolism going and boost your immune system. . 3. Carve out 10-15 min for morning devotion, prayer and affirmations. You could use any notebook to write down 3-5 things you're grateful for. Then, do the same with affirmations you can speak over yourself. . 4. MOVE your body! 😎 Do a workout that you love and/or get outside. Then, have your shake to refuel those muscles! . 5. Freshen up and get dressed! Even if it's putting on some cute, comfy clothes so you feel confident for your day! . Hope this brings you joy this week and in the weeks to come! I will tell you it literally changes my FULL days as a mama and business owner when I put myself first! XO

Y’all, taking care of our mental and emotional health is vital. Especially right now. So, in lieu of some #mondaymotivation I wanna talk to you about being brave and knowing when you need to tap out and sit with your emotions, because frankly, Rona is a biiiiiotch... 🤦🏻‍♀️ The other day, a friend of mine tapped out of our group Zoom chat, because she couldn’t handle humans and instead spent the day cleaning and processing her feelings. Another friend and business owner canceled a call, because she wasn’t in a place that she felt she had anything positive to say. I reached out to my ex the other day to see if he could take the girls a couple hours earlier, because I needed help and was about to lose my shit. Another friend reached out and said she’s had every emotion possible in the last 3 hours ranging from gratitude to rage and just needed talk... These are just a few examples of bravery. Catch my drift? ✊🏼 We’ve all been impacted by Coronavirus in one way or another. We’ve all had losses, and they all look different. It’s crucial to know that all of your feelings are valid and okay. ALL of them. Even if it feels silly to you. Please reach out, tap out, go inward. Whatever you need to do to process and actually feel whatever you’re going through, do that. That is showing up for yourself and your family. That is strength, and that is brave. ❤️💪🏼

𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.. .. COVID-19 Lockdown hasn’t really affected me too much, I have so much DIY to do in the evenings and weekend. Still working full time from home liaising with clients to review energy pricing as markets hit an all time low. As we are on third week of horse lockdown for fields, I’m there twice a day so getting plenty of exercise mucking out etc. Only difference is no client meetings really or wine nights with friends, so zero make up, massive unstyled hair and cozy clothes. I’ve decided to place @respactive on the back burner, wanting people to focus on mental wellbeing and keeping their finances secure. The clothes will still be there on the otherside. I hope you are all doing ok and taking care of yourself physically and mentally, mixing up your day to keep your brain engaged, getting fresh air where possible and appreciating friends and family with regular communication. How lucky are we to have the likes of FaceTime etc!!! During this time I have realised how important my yoga practice is and how I have previously not prioritised it as much as I could have. . I would always be “too busy”, “not have enough time, “oh but I need to do this first”. . In reality I could have fitted it more into my life I just chose other things and that is ok but now I have experienced practicing once a day and notice how it has improved my physical self as well as my mental self I am motivated to keep it as more than a once or twice a week practice.
