🌟 LOW CALORIE/SUGAR FREE hot chocolate drink 🍫 🌟 Hey guys I’ve shown this on my stories the other day and lots of you asked what’s in it so, here it is🤗 Love this little hot chocolate drink to curb a sweet tooth or just to warm me up these days ! It’s extremely easy to make! Swipe left to see the steps! All I used was: 🌟200ml @alpro unsweetened almond milk- you can use any variety but this one is the lowest calorie I could find and I also don’t over use dairy in my diet so this is perfect! 🌟 10g -usweeetened defatted cacao powder ( I used this one in the photo, you can get it in any polish shop I’ve also included a photo of some alternative ones with the same macros if you can’t find this particular one! But any unsweetened cacao powder would do, just the calories/macros will vary ) 🌟 5 g @prozis collagen protein powder - this is optional but I like to add a bit of protein to this making it more filling but also collagen protein is amazing for your skin/joints etc! 🌟 @prozis Yummy drops - chocolate 🍫 flavour- these are amazing for adding sweetenesss and flavour without the calories! Generally 5 drops is enough. 🌟cinnamon - I love cinnamon in anything! You can skip this but there’s so many health benefits to using cinnamon! It helps to control blood sugar levels and reduce sugar cravings 🙌🏼 🌟Water - I just add this for volume- use as much as you like depending on the serving you want! I barely ate during my entire stay in hospital. I mostly sipped on water, tried a little green tea, some black tea and ate a tiny amount of jelly and greek yoghurt. Since being home, I've been living on my Dad's amazing vegetable soup that he made special for me post op 🥰 Optifast shakes, tea with milk, some apple juice which I had to stop drinking because it wasn't agreeing with my tummy and I've tried a couple of packet soups that were pretty awful. I've been trying to drink flavoured protein waters but I'm finding them way too sweet, so I'm going to look in to buying some unflavoured protein and I just ordered some Sustagen 3 nights ago. Looking forward to introducing some purees and soft foods once I'm able to speak with my surgeon! Covid-19 has made arranging appointments difficult and I'm hoping we can organise a video call in the next day or so rather than leaving isolation ❤️

Breakfast was porridge the usual mixed with tsp on honey and sprinkled with millseed! No photo as I had an explosion in the microwave🙈 Just what I needed!! Anyway still was tasty and warm which I needed after waking up with it snowing😂😅 Lunch was Cottage pie using sweet potato on top along with speedy green beans! 🤩 Very filling and yummy! This post means a lot to me. 6 months ago I was at the worst point in my life, failed university, working a horrible job and struggling mentally. I decided to change that all around. October I decided to lose weight by the end of jan 2020 I went from 97kg to 80kg. I also decided to try something new and get out of my comfort zone. I decided to grow my hair out. People are stuck being comfortable . Fuck being comfortable. In 6 months I started university, started my own business, working for myself and started YouTube. Happy Sunday 🥰 (not that the days of the week seem to feel like they matter much anymore ).⁣ ⁣ My body has been playing up this week, I’ve been overly symptomatic with both my POTS and EDS.⁣ ⁣ Joints have been incredibly sore when walking and carrying things (like moving pans around when I’m cooking ), yet weirdly absolutely fine during training.⁣ ⁣ Our bodies are weird things, especially those who are fellow sufferers of chronic illnesses will understand this.⁣ ⁣ It is important to recognise that no two people are the same.⁣ ⁣ Yes, of course we can sympathise with others but we shouldn’t assume that we know how they are feeling. Our perceptions on everything are all so different, even amongst the same diagnosis.⁣ ⁣ Anyway, a reminder to be kind to your loved ones and try not to kill each other while stuck in close proximity 😂🥰.

Many people assume that oranges contain the most vitamin C, but there are quite a few foods that contain more as a whole and here are some by my friend Amanda @meowmeix ,(it’s actually her birthday today 🎉 ) . Vitamin C is necessary for the growth, development and repair of body tissues. A recent meta-analysis also showed vitamin C was beneficial to people whose immune system was weakened due to stress. . While vitamin C may not be the cure for the common cold, there is good evidence to support that it helps reduce risk of developing complications when you get sick. Vitamin C itself is also a strong antioxidant that can help boost your blood antioxidant levels which in turn can help reduce risk of chronic disease. . If that’s not motivation enough to get in more Vitamin C, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that those with the highest concentrations of vitamin C in their blood were associated with 42% lower stroke risk. . So don’t neglect this helpful vitamin and remember supplementation is always a great option too. . For more background info, one small orange has 51.1mg vitamin C and a medium orange has 69.7mg vitamin C. I missssssss the gymmmmmmmm duuuuude ~Stay positive stay positive stay positive~ Everything will be okay!! We’re in this together. Honestly, it’s really hard going from having a schedule everyday to literally having NOTHING TO DO I mean if I watch anymore tv I’m gonna go crazy. And all the puzzles are sold out of all the stores!! I also just found out that lockdown is extended until at least the end of April.... not gonna lie...
